We enjoyed the second good day on the slopes of the season, unfortunally the snow this year has not graced our mountains. We did however have a cracking time fighting with the tows and wizzing down the runs. Spent a lot of the time on my bottom so feeling a bit bruised but satified that my skills have improved. We are looking forward to Les Deux Alps later this month woop woop.

We enjoyed an evening of history, dancing and ghost stories in Duror Bothy, the birth place of  James of the Glen. James Stewart was hung for a murder he did not commit. His trail and execution was the most famous miscarriage of justice in Scottish legal history. The forest walk of three kilometres to the bothy is in a magnificent setting, tucked in below the towering Beinn a ` Bheithir. The Bothy is cared for by the Mountain Bothy Association, it has a wood burning stove, table and seating area and  raised platforms to sleep on. A truly enjoyable and liberating outdoor experience.
